YOUR HOME'S FRESH START BEGINS WITH A BOLD NEW VISION

Every remodel is a journey of transformation, but sometimes, that journey starts long before the first hammer swings. For us, the relationship with this particular client began three years ago, with a whole-house interior renovation. We worked together to craft all new living spaces, a kitchen, and a bathroom that reflected his unique personality. Last year, we helped him select all new furniture to complete the interior vision. This summer, the transformation came full circle with a fresh new start for the outside.
✨ THE ESSENCE:
Trust is a three-year process. Our long-term client relationship proves that great design and peace of mind come from a continuous, trusted partnership.
Bold is better with a plan. A statement color can be a fantastic choice, but it requires a curated palette to feel balanced and intentional.
The right team makes the difference. A project's success hinges on skilled and reliable partners who share our commitment to quality.
A remodel is a new beginning. A project like this isn't just about paint; it's about embracing a fresh perspective for your home and yourself.
A THREE-YEAR JOURNEY TO A FRESH START
After meticulously redesigning the entire interior and furnishing it with care, the client was ready for the final piece of the puzzle: a new exterior. The conversation started with safe, classic color choices—a subdued blue, then a more traditional green. But our client is anything but traditional. He's bold and loves to make a statement, and he had a vision that was inspired by a specific moment. A neighbor's home, once painted a vibrant blue, had recently been repainted a very conservative white with black trim. That, he told me, was a signal. He wanted to go big.
THE POWER OF A STATEMENT
This project was a fantastic challenge, and one I accepted wholeheartedly. I believe a core part of our "collaborative partnership" is stepping outside our comfort zones to bring a client's vision to life. The client chose Sherwin-Williams 6965 Hyper Blue as the primary exterior color. It's a vibrant, unapologetic statement. Our job was to help him settle on the ideal palette to accompany it—from the trim to the front door—to ensure the entire home felt cohesive and complete.
For this kind of meticulous, client-centric process, it's essential to have reliable partners. We’ve worked with Atrium Painting for over four years, and their professionalism, reliability, and reasonable pricing consistently impress us. They are a crucial part of our team, ensuring that bold design choices are executed with flawless precision. You can see more of their work and get in touch with them directly here: Atrium Painting.
FORGE YOUR PLAN: EMBRACING A BOLD PALETTE
Thinking about making a statement with your own home's exterior? Here are a few questions to ask yourself and your design-build partner before you take the leap:
What is the emotional impact you want? Do you want your home to feel vibrant and unique, or calm and understated? Your answer should guide your color choice.
How does the color interact with your surroundings? Look at your home in a different light throughout the day. Consider how the color will look against your landscaping and your neighbors' homes.
What's the rest of your palette? A bold color rarely works alone. Think about what a contrasting trim, a unique front door color, and even your planters or house numbers will look like.
